Print Boise

Print Boise 2017

Join Wingtip Press and Preservation Idaho architectural historian Amy Pence-Brown on a free walking tour of Boise as we explore Boise’s historic and cultural diversity, first hearing tales of Boise’s past, then plein air printmaking.

We will meet at various locations (listed below) to explore the history and create multiple rubbings of artifacts from city sidewalks, signage, historic markers and textured surfaces along the way. Create your own personal “chop” to sign your artwork, and you take a print home leaving the rest for collection and display! The workshops will conclude with a public exhibition of collected prints First Thursday August 3, 2017 at Ming Studios.

You must register in advance, as space in each workshop is limited! Maximum 20 people per tour, register each individual separately. Recommended age 6+.  Choose your date and follow the registration at Preservation Idaho’s Tickets. Meeting location details provided at registration.
